Break into three groups and allocate the following Scriptures to each group:

1. Ephesians 3:14-4:3
2. Ephesians 4:17-32
3. Ephesians 5:1-21

Observation

Within your group, answer the following questions for your allocated passage:

• what are some of the practical instructions Paul gives to Christians that impact how they live their everyday life? 
• reflecting on your personal life, how are you living out these instructions? Do you find it easy, or do you find it challenging? What are your motivations for obeying these commands? 
• The Christian life is a ‘therefore’ walk. How does Paul empower the Christians to go about living out the commands? 

Application

Within your group, answer the following questions for your allocated passage:

Ps Chee shared that the Christian life is not a ME ‘therefore’ walk, but God has saved us to live a Christ ‘therefore’ walk (2 Corinthians 5:15). 

• Can you give examples in your everyday life how you live a ME ‘therefore’ walk? 
• How would you walk differently, if you lived a CHRIST ‘therefore’ walk? 
• Ask the Lord to reveal an area in your everyday life that He wants you to live a CHRIST ‘therefore’ walk.
