SOAR DISCUSSION GUIDE

Who Is Your Everyone?
Vision Series
 ———————
The Vision
building disciples who represent to Jesus to everyone, everywhere with everything
 ——————–
Scripture
The vision of our church was birthed out of three key scriptures. Read Matthew 28:16-20, Ephesians 1:20-23 (the Message version) and Acts 19:1-10.
Give every member a blank sheet of A4 paper:
– draw images that comes to your mind as you read the Scriptures
– draw images or use words to describe what kind of people the disciples were like and what they would be doing (Acts 19:1-10)

Observation
On Sunday we drew a picture of our life with a circle to describe our everyone, everywhere and everything. For those who have not drawn the circle, please download the PDF and take some time to fill it out.
With your completed circle, spend the next 10 mins  alone with Jesus and reflect on three questions:
  1. What observations can you make about your life? How did this exercise make you feel? Was it confronting or challenging?
  2. How is Jesus representing Himself to your everyone, everywhere and with your everything?
  3. Ask Jesus – what is my next step of obedience in order to represent you in an area of my life?
Application
Gather into groups of three and share with one another your insights to the questions. Pray for one another
Response
In order to represent Jesus to our everyone, Ps Chee challenged us on Sunday to ask one question to our spouse, family member or preChristian friend/family:  “What kind of Jesus am I representing to you?”
If you have done that, share your experience with one another. If not, make a commitment to ask that question to someone this week. Hold one another accountable to their steps of obedience.
